A group of young volunteers from Willow Creek Community Church in Chicago came to help the Zurisadai Church build homes for local residents of San Jacinto. They arrived with many language and cultural barriers. After a week of team work, dancing, playing, crying, and praying together, they left with many barriers broken and powerful examples of God’s love. The youth group brought energy, excitement, and encouragement to the Zurisadai Church and the community of San Jacinto, while receiving a clearer picture of what God has called His Church to be–a place of love, a source of a light, and a spring of hope and healing for its neighbors.
