Team ENLACE participates in athletic events to help empower churches to end poverty
There are many ways to represent Team ENLACE to help churches transform communities. You can represent Team ENLACE at your local marathon or 5k or make up your own event. Churches use Team ENLACE to involve athletes in meeting their outreach goals, or you can join Team Enlace as a solo athlete.
Whether you run, walk, swim, bike, or climb to create empowering and sustainable change, joining Team ENLACE is fun and easy.
Will you sign up for an existing event like a marathon, half-marathon, or Tough Mudder?
Or will you make up your own event and climb a mountain, run your first couch to 5k, or set your own bike riding goal?
If you’re a solo athlete just set your fundraising goal, create an individual fundraising page, and you’re ready to ask friends and family to help you change the world.
If you’re starting a team, you’ll set a team goal, then invite people to join your team. As they join, they’ll each set up a personal fundraising page to contribute to the team goal.
Share your personal fundraising page with everyone you know. Tell them why you believe in ENLACE and invite them to help you transform lives. Then head down to the store on this page and buy your Team ENLACE shirt and other gear to wear at your event.

Team Enlace is a DIY program consisting of people like you who support our work helping churches end poverty while having fun. You can join an existing event (like your local 5k or marathon) or invent your own. You can set up a solo fundraising page or start a team and ask others to join it. If you’re feeling extra team spirit, head over to our store and buy a Team Enlace shirt to help spread the word.
Team Enlace can be a great way to get your congregation involved in Enlace’s work helping churches end poverty. There’s probably a runner at your church who would love to start a volunteer training program to encourage runners and walkers to participate in a local event. It can be as easy as finding a volunteer leader, setting a goal, spreading the word, and hosting a weekly training meetup. Team Enlace is not about running. It’s about changing the world by helping churches end poverty. You can walk, bike, climb, or do anything you want to help Enlace empower churches to transform their communities. Just choose your activity, set up a fundraising page, and you’re ready to go.
Enlace works with churches in impoverished regions to help them transform their communities. Your efforts may help families living in extreme poverty build latrines or gain access to safe, clean drinking water. It may provide business coaching or seed capital to help start family chicken or goat farming businesses. Your support may go toward building homes or supporting infrastructure like roads, or a local clinic or school. All Enlace projects are community-led, so it’s always the community itself that decides how your gift will meet their greatest need to help families physically and spiritually thrive.
